About Dr. Fleuriet
Dr. Fleuriet serves as Associate Vice President for Institutional Effectiveness at Texas State. In this role she directs university strategic planning and addresses issues related to organizational communication and image. She also oversees the Offices of Professional Development, Faculty Advancement, Institutional Research, and the Program for Excellence in Teaching and Learning.
Dr. Fleuriet began teaching at Texas State University-San Marcos in 1986 and became Basic Course Director in 1989. In 1994 she became Associate Dean for the College of Fine Arts and Communication where she served as coordinator of school-wide advising for the departments of Art, Mass Communication, Communication Studies, Music, and Theatre. In 1997 Dr. Fleuriet received the University Presidential Award for Excellence in Teaching. She also began a two-year term as Special Assistant to the President under President Supple. Following the internship, she began her current position.
